The categories below are the controlled list the Dema IQ register uses. Every record it holds is classified against one of them, and a screening result names the category it matched. Your team can move directly from the result to the relevant Schedule 6 basis.
The headings are ours, written to group the roles under each item in language an institution would recognise. The roles themselves are the register's own.

A listing identifies a covered position
Schedule 6 brings a person into PIP screening because of an office they hold or held. It gives your team the basis for the next risk-assessment step.
The category is the finding
A result names the Schedule 6 item a person was classified under, and the evidence it was classified from. There is no score, and no ranking of one category above another.
The timeline stays on the record
Someone who has left office may still be within scope. Past appointments keep their dates rather than being erased, so your team decides when a role stopped mattering.
Using the list
From the list to an answer about a name.
Reading the categories tells you who is in scope. Screening tells you whether the name in front of you is one of them.
- You search a full name, with a date of birth when you have one.
- A candidate comes back under the one Schedule 6 item it qualifies against.
- The item is named on the result, so you can see why the name came back.
- The certificate for the file carries the same category, in the same words.
