PIP screening

Screen against the Namibian PIP records global lists miss.

The Namibian prominent and influential persons register, classified against Schedule 6. Turn it on, screen the names in front of you, and keep the certificate. Keeping it current is our job.

What a PIP screen does

A clear answer with the evidence to act on it.

Run it alone or alongside UN sanctions. Review the candidates, record your decision and save the certificate in one workflow.

  • Searches by full name, with a date of birth when you have one.
  • Returns Match, Possible match, or Nothing found, with what agreed and conflicted, in words.
  • Shows every candidate considered, so you decide on the evidence, not the top row.
  • Names the Schedule 6 category behind a candidate, so you can see why it came back.
  • Keeps the search, the result and your disposition as separate, auditable records.
  • Issues a certificate for the file on every screen, including Nothing found.
  • Covers family-member and close-associate relationships where they are established. A shared surname on its own never is one.

Set and forget

The register is our job, not yours.

Keeping local coverage current is the work, and it is ours. You turn PIP screening on and use it; there is no maintenance task that lands on your team.

  • No lists to keep

You do not build a register, import a spreadsheet, or work out what changed since last quarter. There is nothing on your side to maintain.

  • Current on the day you search

Each screen answers from the coverage in place at that moment, and records which day that was.

  • Both lists, one platform

PIP and UN sanctions run from the same screen, and each returns its own certificate.

Schedule 6

Every appointment is classified against Schedule 6.

A candidate comes back under the Schedule 6 item it qualifies against, and that category travels with the result and onto the certificate.

  • Heads of state and government, ministers, and senior government officials
  • Members of Parliament and of similar legislative bodies
  • Members of a political party's governing body
  • Significant or important political party officials
  • Members of regional councils and local authority councils
  • Board members, executives and senior management of public-owned enterprises
  • Judicial officers
  • Ambassadors and high-ranking officers of the armed forces
  • Administrative, management and supervisory body members of public-owned enterprises
  • Traditional leaders
  • Religious leaders
  • Senior executives of prescribed-turnover private entities
  • Senior executives of international organisations operating in Namibia

Schedule 6 explained sets out every item with the positions recorded under it, and what a listing gives your team for its risk assessment.

What you get back

A result you can file, and hand on.

One search produces three things your file needs, and they stay separate on purpose: what came back, what your team made of it, and the document that proves you asked.

A finding, in words
Match, Possible match, or Nothing found, with what agreed and what conflicted set out beside it. Never a score.
A decision that stays yours
Your team's disposition is recorded against the search, and kept separate from the finding it responds to.
A certificate anyone can check
It carries a verification code a regulator or auditor can redeem without an account and without calling us.

A certificate is issued for every screen, including one that finds nothing. A search you cannot show is a search you cannot prove you ran.

How a match is treated

Move from possible match to recorded decision.

Coverage starts at home

Namibian appointments, roles and dates — the names a global list has no commercial reason to carry.

The decision stays yours

Review the candidate, compare the evidence and record your institution's conclusion in the same workflow.

A starting point, not a verdict

A possible match tells you where to look. What it means about a person is your team's call to make.
